Jayton-Girard: Chase Nuding
Grade:
Junior
Event:
Ready Writing
How long you've been competing in UIL: 10
years
What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking
thing about your event: I've never been the type to worry about a contest. I
would say the most challenging thing about Ready Writing is the difficulty of
coming up with fresh and original material to put down on paper.
First thing you'll do when you win: Probably
go and eat Italian food or Pizza Hut, whatever suits me at that moment in time.
Past honors in the event: Being as this is the
first time I've competed in Ready Writing at the high school level, the only
"past" honors I've had is second in district and third in regional competition.
Extracurricular activities/other UIL events:
Spelling, Social Studies, Basketball
College plans: I haven't quite figured out
where I want to go, but I'm most definitely going to college.
Birthplace: Lubbock, TX
One thing your parents, a sibling or even a
best friend might not know about you: I enjoy classical music...a lot.
