Event: Spelling & Vocabulary

How long you've been competing in UIL: this is my 8th year

 What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: Waiting for results...because of the long grading process. The anticipation keeps building.

 First thing you'll do when you win: Enjoy my time in Austin and it's culture such as shopping and multiple choices of restaurants. Afterwards, returning home and celebrating with my friends.

 Past honors in the event: 1st in spelling for 6 consecutive years...and this year finishing 2nd @ district and 2nd @ regionals

 Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: Number Sense, Headline Writing, Social Studies,Volleyball, Tennis, Band, Student Council, One-Act Play, and Spanish Club

 College plans: To attend college @ UT at Austin and go on to Med School

 Birthplace: Queens, NY

 One thing your parents, a sibling or even a best friend might not know about you: After pursuing my goal to become a doctor I wish to one day chase my other dream of becoming an actress.
