How long you've been competing in UIL: I've been competing in a variety of events since the 5^th grade, but I've only been in poetry for about a month and a half.

 What's the most challenging/nerve-wracking thing about your event: The only thing that makes me nervous is competing against my teammates.

 First thing you'll do when you win: I'll pick my jaw up off the ground and hope for an ice cream celebration.

 Past honors in the event: 3^rd place at District 8-4A Meet (2009); 2^nd place at Region 1 UIL Academics Meet (2009)

 Extracurricular activities/other UIL events: Band, Theater, C-X Debate (3^rd place in District 8-4A C-X Debate in both 2007 and 2008), Student Council, Extemporaneous Speaking, Class Officer, FUMC Youth, National Honor Society

 College plans: I plan on attending college and majoring in theater and minoring in education.
