He's running, he's really running

I got a sorta-quick response from Mayor Martin Chavez's campaign team today regarding my taunt of Mayor Chavez's lack of campaign decision.

Even today Eli Lee of Soltari Inc, which is running Eric Griego's campaign, said his group jokingly refers to Griego as "running unopposed."

Well, say no more. The Chavez team has a Web site, some kind of staff, and the game is afoot.

"Albuquerque Mayor Martin Chavez will be seeking re-election," wrote Brian Eagan in his e-mail to me today.
