I got a call from Matthew Evans today. He talked about watching some interviews of Evan O'Dorney, the 2007 Scripps National Spelling Bee champion, online.
Evan was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel on his show in early June. If you saw the bee, you probably saw a piece taped in his home and interview with his mother. He's a very literal kid. Doesn't quite understand adult humor, but the online excerpts from Kimmel's show are ... well, let's say funny.
