MWC pre-season football rankings
The Mountain West Conference announced the University of New Mexico football team was picked to finish fifth by selected members of the media. Senior offensive tackle Robert Turner was the only Lobo to earn pre-season all-conference honors.
Here's the pre-season team rankings:

I think the ranking is fair, however the All-MWC needs some work. First, how can Lynell Hamilton not be first team? I'd bump Bell off. Also, how can there be 12 players on defense? I don't think Nading should be 1st team. Quincy Black should easily be 1st team LB over Beau Bell.

This is the greatest news ever. The MWC and our own media never give the Lobo teams much credit so I get very excited to see the media once again pick the Lobos to finish low.
