WNBA tops Sportscenter highlights

It's not every day I can type in that headline, but former BYU star and Lobo nemesis Erin Thorn earned the No. 1 spot on ESPN's Top Plays Monday night. She came off the bench to score 19 points for the New York Liberty, including a buzzer-beater 3-pointer to end the first quarter and midcourt heave she threw like a soccer inbound play that beat the buzzer to end the third quarter. Despite Thorn's impressive outside shooting, the Liberty lost 71-89 to the Connecticut Sun.
