Sub on the women's basketball beat

January 31, 2007

I love the women's basketball beat, but the Trib shipped me off to Miami to cover the Super Bowl. Who was I to argue with such logic?

Trib columnist Richard Stevens will be covering tonight's game against San Diego State and Sunday's rematch against Wyoming. Stop growling. He loves the Lobos. Seriously.

Look out for his postgame story, full of whit and wisdom (stop laughing), at Lobo Zone shortly after the game. I promise I left you in good hands. Again, stop laughing.

AWOL for three games merits corporal punishment. Get back on the beat for Lobos women's basketball or suffer worse.

Even a bad story from a Limon is better than a good story from a Stevens.

Go Lobos!

Richard Stevens will not earn Subway Sub of the game honors!

Lliana: Phone home.

Go Lobos!

For the record, I'm only missing two games.
