Game check: Halo II tournament Saturday
The folks over at Insomnia Gaming Center, 1331 Juan Tabo Blvd. N.E., Suite-2M, are running at Halo II tournament Saturday. Start time is 5 p.m.
Sign up at the store before the event, or call 573-4536.
It will be a team-based, four-on-four tourney. Sign-ups are $5 per person or $20 per team.
The top prize - other than city-wide glory and a spot on Q-T3CH's tournament winner area - will be 70 percent of the pot.
And if you're checking out the Guitar Hero II action at Dragon's Lair, 1016 Juan Tabo N.E., Suite M, earlier in the day, you can top off your evening with some shooter action at Insomnia. It's down the street on the opposite side.
