The Travelin Man

July 24, 2007

By Kate Nash

Gov. Bill Richardson's schedule this week includes lots of new things: New Hampshire, New York and New Mexico.

The gov. also has some Iowa stops on his itinerary today, including five job interviews in a smattering of small towns.

Thursday will find Richardson in at a meet and greet in Concord, New Hampshire. That's the only thing on his schedule until Friday, when he's got a "major policy address" slated for noon Eastern at the Southern New Hampshire University.

Later, he's off to Salem for a "homeland security conversation" with firefighters and two more job interviews.

Saturday is packed. The governor is down for two more meet and greets, a SEIU conference in Hanover and then some fund-raising in New York.

The New Mexico part of the schedule comes in Monday, July 30th, when Richardson will fund-raise in the state. Ditto for Wednesday Aug. 1. Looks like the governor will be in Iowa for much of early August until he heads to the YearlyKos presidential debate in Chicago on Aug. 4.

The damn governor ought to stay in the state. He was elected Governor not roving Ambassador. He doesn't have a chance in hell of becoming President, although he may grab the hind tit and become Vice President for Hillary.(God forbid either of the 2 making it to the White House.).
