Money would widen Paseo del Norte

Sen. Joe Carraro has a request pending that would amplify part of Paseo.


Here's what the release about his request says:

Senator Carraro hits the road by introducing Capitol Outlay Request #1720, which provides $850,000 to widen Paseo Del Norte west of the Golf Course Road from two lanes to four. "I have proposed this capitol outlay project because the City of Albuquerque has stated that Paseo Del Norte expansion will be limited to 2 lands because of additional costs." Also in Senate Capitol Outlay Request #1720 is $100,000 to improve Coors boulevard south of the Coors bypass.
