Ethics Task Force, Part II
Gov. Bill Richardson appoints members (again) to new ethics panel.
The Governor's Office says it's glad to appoint so many familiar faces to the group. There are new members as well.
"I am pleased that so many members of the first task force have agreed to continue their service, and grateful to the new members who give a fresh perspective to the work of the group," said Governor Richardson.
"The work of this group is critical, and I expect the task force to meet quickly and begin their work as soon as possible. Republicans and Democrats, business and government, non-profit and public, I believe this diverse group will help ensure the public’s best interests are well represented."
The work of the group will count the most, of course, if it can win the support of the Legislature. We all saw how popular ethics reform was this year . . .
Here are the members. They are to do thier work before Richardson possibly calls another special session on ethics.
