Past Weather Question
One of the most common questions we get is:
"Where can I get past weather information?"
Well, here are a few websites:
The NWS Pleasant Hill Climate Page
Weather Underground (under "History & Almanac)
NOAA links to Past Weather
Hope that helps you!

How much longer is this heat wave going to last. I am so tired of this heat!
TOM:
Technically... it's not a heat wave, believe it or not! A heat wave is when we have temperatures above 95 degrees for three or more days. BUT it is HOT, nonetheless!! It looks like we *might* see a little relief next week as a front approaches us Monday into Tuesday. If the front is strong enough, we could see cooler weather and maybe some rain. But we'll have to see how things set up!

Is there any way to guess at the weather for the first week/weekend of August? I remember last year it was one of our hottest weeks ever (at least at the youth camp I was working at around the Ozarks - the heat index was almost 120!) Anyway...we have a friend coming in who is thinking about moving here...so I am just hoping it won't be as brutal! Thanks.

ANNE:
There is no way of being specific when talking that far ahead... but we can give you a general feel of what it *might* be like! The climactic average high temperature for that particular weekend is right around 89 degrees. Depending on the weather features around... (ie, a ridge/trough... clouds/sun... rain/dry)... the acutal temperature could be above or below that average high. The problem is: forecast models are not accurate that far down the road... but you can check back as we get closer!
