Calling All Snowfall Totals
No real update to Gary's forecast below... it looks to be on track!
This is just a shout out to all of you who feel like braving the cold to measure the snow in your yard!
If you could blog your totals to us, that would be great... or email them to weather@nbcactionnews.com
Thanks, and have a good evening!

Hi! I'm in Ray County, just north of Lawson. Front yard total is 2-1/2 inches of snow, back yard is right at 3 inches. Still have some light flurries floating down.
JODY:
Thanks for the snow information! I used it in my weathercast today.

As of 9am Sunday morning. Here at my yard in DeSoto Kansas we have a grand Total of 3 inches. We only recived 1 more inch from 8pm Saturday. The extra snow 3 inches that I thought would develop over Saturday night did not develop, ( banging head on computer desk )Im not the only one that missed it. 2 computer models forecasted 3 more inches. 2 other models forecasted 2 more inches. Snow storms are hard to hit on the head because the slightest change in flow can change snowfall rates by as much as 100 miles away.
