LARGE Hail
Just an update...
These thunderstorms have numerous reports of LARGE HAIL with them. If you have a car parked outside... tonight would be the night to move it under a shelter! Here is a picture of golfball sized hail that fell in Lawrence:

This was sent in by Thomas Cray... thanks for the picture!
Here is another Lawrence hail photo sent in by Julie Carr:

Larger than quarters and half-dollars!! I have also seen reports of TENNIS BALL sized hail. :-0

Not sure, but it's looking like the rain could miss the metro area again. Why, oh why?
Actually, parts of the Metro area are getting hit right NOW!! :)

Nothing better than having you keeping us updated all night and watching 24. Looks like some nice soaking rains, just what we needed.
Thanks for keeping us informed Jamie
JOE:
The severe threat is still there, although getting lower and lower. The storms have evolved into more of an MCS, but we still have to watch out for hail and gusty winds. Thanks for sticking with us! :)
