Latest data
Good evening,
The latest GFS run has the upper low and it forms and slowly moves across the plains early in the week. But, it doesn't have the cold fronts that the recent runs had. This doesn't mean it is correct, but summer does begin next week and the flow aloft continues to fall apart gradually so I am concerned. Our best chances for rain could come from this storm early in the week which is suspect. Then, we will need a cold front so I am worried.
Have a great night. If you have Satellite then you can't see our new NBC ACTION WEATHER PLUS weather channel. But, you can see it by simply having an antenna on your TV and tuning it in.
Have a great night, and hopefully the weather will get exciting soon.

I see there is rain in the forcast for Saturday. Is this going to be a morning event, all day or in the evening? We are having my three year old son's birthday party and I was hoping the kids could play outside some.
Thanks,
Shelley
Shelley,
It is just too early to pin down the timing on Saturday's chance of rain. Right now I would say it will rain for one or two hours sometime during the day, but more likely later in the day. This will change as we get closer.

TOMATO WATCH
A Tomato Watch is now in effect for the entire veiwing area. Tomatoes are likely to ripen and grow from F-O Cherry Tomatoes to the Massive F-5 Beef Master Tomatoes. These Tomatoes are likely in Gardens throughout the Veiwing area. Persons should be prepared for the Tomatoes by frying up some bacon to go with the tomatoes on a bed of lettuce and bread. When Tomatoes are reported they should be shared with Familly, Freinds and neighbors. When Tomatoes are seen persons should take action by slicing them, Frying bacon, Placing them in salads and or frying up the green ones. REPEATING:::: A TOMATO WATCH IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE VEIWING AREA.
This Tomato watch is in effect until the first frost of fall.

Gary, correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 41.2 an HDTV channel? So in order to pull this off the air it would require an HD receiver.. I could be totally wrong, so please correct me.
Dave,
I must learn more myself. I don't think you need an HD receiver, but a digital one.

I love your new channel... so much better than metro weather. I can now get your in depth forcast anytime I want. If the weather gets exciting, it will be the channel I watch to get the most up to date weather info.
Thanks for making weather so easy to get
