More Rain Possible
TODAY'S NUMBERS:
HIGH: 83
LOW: 70
No real changes to the blog from earlier this morning. There is an ongoing area of thunderstorms to our southwest this evening... that will likely affect parts of the southern viewing area. But we will still have to watch for the development of additional thunderstorms later on tonight. Again, heavy rain is a concern... as the atmosphere is just loaded with moisture!
Here is a look at the rainfall totals from the NAM/WRF through Monday night. This model has been handling this situation the best so far...

I will have an update in the morning! Keep adding on to those totals... thanks for keeping us posted!

Hi Jamie,
Just wanted to let you know about our total rainfall from Friday morning to Sunday morning 7:00 AM. 6.1 inches has fallen at 127th and Nieman. Unbelievable and so welcomed. Thanks for the great work as always and I hope Gary is doing OK!

MIKE:
Thank you for your totals! Gary is well, and I am sure he is enjoying all of this rain! He will be back Tuesday.

Rainfall in northern Lenexa since midnight, 2.91!! Grand total since Friday night, 4.43"! We have been waiting a long time for this kind of rain. Do you see more for tonight? I don't know if the ground can take it.

DAVID:
We'll probably go into a flood watch of some sort before long. There is more rain heading our way for today/tonight/even Monday!
