A Saturday storm system!
Good evening everyone!
The latest data is trickling in and we continue to see our 100% chance of rain on Saturday, this after it did hit our forecast high of 70 degrees from last nights 10 PM newscast.
The storm is intensifying and I am now thinking that over an inch of rain is likely in a few spots. I hope it doesn't ruin your Saturday plans.
On the horizon is more exciting weather. Is this amazing or what? Hopefully these trends will continue.
Have a great weekend. I only had 3 to 4 hours of sleep four nights in a row so I plan on catching up this weekend even though I am working Sunday night.

Gary, what is the time frame for the rain on Saturday? Thanks!

Matt,
At this moment I think the rain will fall from 8 or 9 AM through 3 PM.

Hello Mr. Lezak,
Didnt get a chance to see ur 10pm forecast.
Do you still have a chance of a mix precip?
---------------
Ben,
There is a chance, but very slim. I think it is just a cold afternoon rain, and it could start as early as 8 AM.

Weather Team,
Even if it does rain today in Baldwin City for Maple Leaf, that will be fine. Just want you guys to know that I don't endorse many things, but you guys have my full endorsement on forecasting accuracy. Great job. I really wish the rain would hold off until after noon. Have a great day.
RYAN:
Thanks for your vote of confidence! I hope you have a good day, despite the cold rainy weather!

Gary, I love to watch your weather reports and I agree that you are the most accurate.
I would like to ask one thing of you, though. Often, I am very tired and you flash up what the low will be for the night and I usually miss it. Could you please post it along with the rest of the 7 day forcast? You post all of the others but you don't post the low for the night you are forecasting.
Thank you,
Rosalie Eggen

Rosalie,
I could find a way to do it. It won't go on the 7 day, but it should appear somewhere.
