11:40 PM update
Good night everyone!
The GFS and Canadian models are consistent in bringing the system near KC Sunday morning. This track would definitely mean accumulations of snow. Brett will have more on the latest trends in the morning. The NAM is driving me a bit nuts.
So, doing the weather tonight was rather difficult. We should be able to show snowfall accumulation graphics Friday. We BETTER.

Gary.
Thanks for the late evening update. Will look forward to seeing the new data in the morning. Are you tired yet? If not I'm sure you will be by tomorrow. Have a good one.

Gary:
Good Morning to you sir and the rest of the weather team. I hope everyone was able to get some sleep last night-all of you for sure deserve it!!!
At least the GFS continues to be consistent(even has it comming in from a further south track at like hour 32 or so) and the 06Z looks to me like it even wants to rotate one small .50 liquid band through here between 48-54 hours. The NAM oh the NAM-still North-but if my eyes aren't decieving me, it appears like it has turned a bit further south than the runs yesterday-at least there isn't that strait North stuff it had yesterday at 18Z. The other thing I noticed is that it appears the Euro now wants to hold some of the energy back but still has the same track....???I think, if I am seeing it correctly, the ULL has made the turn and man does it have some moisture to work with!!! I guess by tomorrow, no matter what the NAM or GFS says, one can look and see where it is!!!
I really feel for all of you-I don't know how you keep your sanity when you have to explain to snow geese like myself why Oklahoma is in WSW for decent snow and we have the chance of seeing rain/wintery mix!!! Amazing what timing of moisture and cold air can do for you!!!!
Well, have a great day and get some rest if at all possible-3 more runs and then I think I'll just look out my window and at radar/satelite pics!!!! I'm sure I'll write in after the 12Z comes out-my Latin students are doing an internet project today so I may have time to sneak a peak!!!

Bill,
Thanks for yur thoughts. I agree the NAM did look like it was just a bit farther south. Perhaps this is the trend it is now taking as the storm approaches.
