Web page & warming up
Good morning,
We continue to work on our web page. Our Action Weather Blog icon will be back on the weather page soon and on our front page as well. So, give us another day or two, or hopefully not longer than this to get it done.
I don't like the look of our blog either. It was sharp, simple, and it worked before the change. I am going to work on getting that look back as well.
Now onto the weather. A weak cold front is moving into northern Missouri this morning. It likely won't pass through Kansas City until around 4 or 5 PM. Southwest winds ahead of the front should help us warm into the 60s.
Accurate forecasting. We will be posting the final numbers from Weatherate.com in a few hours as they are arriving today. Look for this later this afternoon.

Thanks for the information Gary. Last Friday or so I was lost as far as reading your information. I finally found the blog button. So does it look like over the next 7-10 days, will it be quiet? I like that but on the other hand precip will be crucial. Again I am learning the long range maps, but I don't see anymore really cold air. Their was cold air up in Alaska but it seems to be retreating back to Siberia. In the LRC is the next big storm system in the first week of April? Thanks, Michael/Topeka

There will be other storm systems and chances for rain, but we are going through the December and into January part of the cycle. The big storm systems may be returning in April, but I still expect some weaker ones this month.

It looks like the Pet Telethon was a huge success !!! We were happy to donate to such a wonderful cause. We adopted our dog & he is the best dog we've ever had! So, does it look like spring is here to stay with us for a while??? Have a great day!

the new nbcactionnews.com does not look that exciting. the graphics don't look that great. i hope that the website will get more exciting. well i hope that it gets warm and says warm. i want winter to end! well thanks again for the spring weather info the other day! it really helped me!

I can see a warming trend that could get us close to 80 degrees a couple of times this month. But, it wouldn't last long.

Gary, since I can't alway catch the news/weather on television do you currently do any weather on the radio. I used to listen to you every day until my radio station changed its format a couple months ago. Also do you have any predictions for the summer.

I am on Newsradio 980 KMBZ every morning from 6 to 8:45 AM live. So, you can catch our forecasts there if you want to flip over. I am on live at :09 and :39 after the hour.
