gary, supposed to go out of town on thursday night. i am also in the snow removal business. could you give me your best guess on this small snow chance? we wont be more than a few hours away, but i would rather just cancel the trip if there is much of a chance. i will be watching.
--------------
Chris,
The chance is slim that any snow falls at all. We should know if there is a realistic chance by later today.

Andrew,
No way, the front is already coming through. So, it is over for the next week or so.

The Sun is coming out here in Olathe.Do you think that could be bad? Right now 62.7F and Rain Fall for today is 0.34".
------------
Andrew,
It makes no difference on a day like this. The cold front is about to blow through. Get ready for some strong north winds.

Morning Weather Team. How about those ROYALS!!!
Great day yesterday, wasn't able to get to the "K" but still BBQ'd and watched the game on the tube.
Just wanted to say, that you guys in the weather center ROCK!! Keep up the great work.. Oh, I'm hearing that some other weather team is predicting "flame thrower" temperatures starting 12 - 14 April..
Have a great day!!!
-------------
Bill,
Isn't it ridiculous to talk about "flame thrower" (which I don't even know who would talk about weather in this way) temperatures, when we are about to have a 5 day cold spell. It must come from someone who thought it wouldn't turn cold again.
Anyway, last year it was 90 degrees in April 3 times. This year there is no chance of that! We are about to have one of the coldest April stretches in years and it may even snow. We like to concentrate on what is going to happen in the next few days, then if there is a lull in the forecast for the short term then we can look ahead.
