Alive and in Key Largo

Well, Ed here again making an entry for Matt via Karen.

It turns out, as I suspected, Matt "The Wizard" made it to Flamingo early Tuesday morning - 5:20 a.m.? or so. He barely touched land, then off to Key Largo where he pulled in exhausted at about 12:55.

As one can imagine, logistical difficulties have created more challenges for the Watertribe Chief in uploading info than in getting in the way of the actual Challenge participants (so far).

Wizard will hang there and replenish supplies - they are allowed to buy stuff anywhere that anyone else can buy stuff - and wait to see the other Florida Challenge competitors before heading out again Wednesday to come north. An east wind Wednesday may make it a bit sporty out there, but Matt will handle it fine.

He did run ot of wind at one point and had to scull for two hours - can you say blisters?
