Here is Matt loading up the boat on top of the car on Thursday evening. He made a special wooden A-frame to hold one end of the boat while he lifts the other end. It looks worse than it is. The boat weighs about 180lbs empty. The car is rated to hold about 220lbs on top. These are special heavy duty roof racks, Matt custom made.
Do not try this with ordinary stock racks.
Friday we will drive over to Fort DeSoto for the captains meeting. The race starts 7am Saturday morning.
