Well, folks, Matt is sailing smoothly. He made the checkpoint at Fort Clinch and has pushed his way up the St. Mary's River beyond the Highway US 17 bridge.
He's pretty far ahead of the other folks in this event who are seperated by classes of vessels. Still, all should be commended for their progress. By the way, Thereandbackagain is an entry who lost both legs in an accident many years ago. He has just entered Martin County and is about a mile north of Jupiter Inlet as of 5 p.m. Tuesday 3/14.
