He's only been in office four weeks but Rep. Tim Mahoney is convinced he's "absolutely here to stay."
"I'm exactly what the people in this district want, which is a no-nonsense business person who doesn't play politics," Mahoney said in an interview this week. "I mean, I demonstrated within the first week by hiring the Foley people that I'm bi-partisan. I think that people see that I'm here in Washington and I'm not caught up and trying to solve world problems, I'm focused on pocketbook issues that are hurting families in the district. And my ability stay focused on that is going to be the difference in this election."
