Yesterday we told you Sen. Mel Martinez, the Florida Republican, had some good bonding time with Queen Elizabeth II at a British Embassy garden party. "The senator thoroughly enjoyed himself," said Martinez spokesman Ken Lundberg, "But he had to leave early for votes." Well, apparently the Queen left the Florida senator wanting more. So, Martinez is planning to join HRH and Prince Philip once more at an embassy dinner tonight before the monarchs leave for London. Wonder if the meal will compare to last night's menu at the White House (see blog entry below) or if the embassy will keep it simple and serve up fish and chips. Bangers and mash, maybe? We'll let you know.
