"His decision to politicize the Department of Justice caused him to loose the support of the employees of DOJ and the American people," Mahoney said. "America needs an Attorney General with the wisdom, integrity, and ability to defend our constitutional freedoms while making our nation more secure. With the resignations of Mr. Rove and Mr. Gonzales, I urge the President to take this opportunity to put good government over politics and restore confidence in his administration.”
