It looks like we won't have to hear the oceanfront condos in Fort Lauderdale used anymore as the example for giant intrusions to our landscape.
The 1,500 foot West Palm Beach Observatory is one of three skyline-altering proposals the city is going to consider to reshape its downtown.
This should do wonders for downtown traffic (you have to indulge my sarcastic tone). Also, I'm guessing insurance will be a little higher than normal on this hotel/dance club/office/ observatory next to CityPlace and blocks from the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
