Robert Toll, CEO of luxury home builder Toll Brothers Inc. gave his housing predictions at the Reuters Real Estate Summit held in New York this week. His thoughts are in line with what our South Florida experts have predicted.
The market will rebound in April 2008. Why that date in particular? The presidential elections.
Here's what he said:
"I see no reason to expect a change in confidence until probably April '08, when the candidates will fairly well be settled for the presidential election and we'll start to listen to speeches about how we'll get better." -- Robert Toll.
He explains further in the story that the rebound will be strong and quick because of pent up demand.
So don't fret folks, April is only 10 months away.
But if you're really addicted to investing in real estate, CNN has a list of 11 bust-free markets. No Florida cities made the list.
Or you can follow Toll's lead and buy land in China, Korea or India -- evidently that's where Toll Brothers is planning to build in the future.
