Realtors helping St. Lucie land teachers

The Realtors Association of St. Lucie County has emailed members in a quest to find rental units within walking distance of St. Lucie County schools. The St. Lucie County School District is trying to find places for about 15 teachers that are coming from India.
The district is looking for 151 teaching positions and has gone so far as to inform a school district in Ohio - where 243 teachers were laid off on Friday - that they're hiring on the Treasure Coast.
