Torrey Pines construction update

PORT ST. LUCIE - About 20 percent of the exterior wall of three-story Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies facility is ready to go up, according to Suffolk Construction, the builder of the 100,000-square-foot facility.
In an update on the work that is expected to be completed in January 2009, Suffolk Construction on Monday noted that half the ground floor slab had been completed, the final design of the interior has been agreed upon, and they are prepared to lift the first sections of wall into place.
The construction site is just west of Interstate-95, south of Gatlin Boulevard.
