VALLEY VIEW, Texas - Valley View's Tyler Nolan scored five touchdowns and led his team in rushing and passing, helping the Eagles overcome the Petrolia Pirates 48-13 Friday night.

Nolan had 13 carries for 124 yards and was 6-of-15 passing for 68 yards.

Petrolia's Tyrel Walker led the Pirates in rushing with 57 yards and scored a touchdown on a 75-yard kickoff return, while teammate Scotty Woodward scored the team's other TD for the night.

The Pirates are 2-2 for the season and the Eagles are 3-1.
