Alvord 38, Jacksboro 27

ALVORD, Texas -- Alvord's Shane Watkins was nearly unstoppable Friday night, rushing for 227 yards and four touchdowns in a 38-27 victory over Jacksboro.
The Tigers (3-3, 1-2) led 20-7 in the first quarter, thanks to Chase West's kickoff return, Logan Gunter's touchdown catch from Colby Bennett and Dayton Inman's TD run.

But Watkins took over as the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-2) earned their first district win behind 338 rushing yards.
Mason Spiller's return of a blocked punt enabled Jacksboro to tie the game at 27-27 in the fourth quarter, but Watkins iced the contest with a 47-yard score in the closing seconds.
