Corn Bible 25, Grandfield 24

GRANDFIELD, Okla - Corn Bible's Curtis Dick threw for two scores and ran one in as the 7-0 Crusaders pulled off the upset of the No. 5 Grandfield Bearcats 25-24 in District C-2 action.

Dick's last strike to Ethan Harms in the third quarter proved to be the go ahead score, giving Corn Bible a lead they would hold to the very end. The Crusaders' QB connected earlier in the game with Taylor Ensz and ran one in from 2 yards out early in the second half.

Grandfield's John Brown had a 44-yard rushing score, and threw a 55-yard bomb to Blake Hammand to put the Bearcats back in the game after trailing 10-0 at the half.

Grandfield falls to 5-2 on the season and 3-2 in district play.
