KNOX CITY - Knox City's Kenyin Thompson’s 404 rushing yards and seven touchdowns helped the Greyhounds get a leg up against the Spur Bulldogs in the District 6 Division I Six-man opener here Friday night.

Thompson led the team in rushing, while teammate M.J. Abila led in passing with seven completes for 104 yards and three TDs.

Greyhound Jordan Carter led in receiving with four catches for 82 yards and two TDs.

Spur's Logan Timberlake led his team in rushing with 323 yards and eight TDs and led in passing with 19 completes for 231 yards and one TD.

The Bulldogs' record falls to 3-4 while the Greyhounds improve to 4-3.
