Olney 45, Alvord 14

OLNEY - Olney's Callen Pittman threw three touchdown passes and ran for a pair of scores in a 45-14 win over Alvord Friday in District 9-2A play.

The Cubs, who improved to 2-0 in district and 4-1 overall, got 160 yards passing and 165 yards rushing from Pittman, who completed 12 of his 15 aerials with no interceptions. He connected with Jodee Wales three times for 78 yards and hit Brock Harris four times for 40 yards.

Ethan Pulliam, Harris and Wales caught TD strikes from Pittman, and teammate Cody Cope chipped in with a 1-yard TD run.

Pittman, who rushed for TDs of 12 and 44 yards, also added a 42-yard field goal for the Cubs' final tally.

Alvord (1-4, 0-2) lost four fumbles and was held under 90 yards in both rushing and passing.
