ELECTRA - John Adam Berend scored three times and Brian Hoff ran for two touchdowns as the Windthorst Trojans shut out the Electra Tigers during Friday nights District 9-A opener.

The Trojans (3-3, 1-0) outran the Tigers (0-6, 0-1) 381 yards to 12, with Pablo Solorio adding two touchdowns and Lance Veitenheimer posting one, a 50-yarder out in the second quarter..
