Brown, Bearcats headed for Class C final WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Grandfield Bearcats are one victory from state championship No. 4, after beating Ringwood, 54-24, on Friday night at Southwestern Oklahoma State. Grandfield (11-2) will face Shattuck in the Class C championship game. The Bearcats won championships in 1958, 1991 and 1992. What Bearcats could have filmed their own UPS "What can Brown do for you?" commercial. Well, Brown did plenty for Grandfield's cause, rushing for 351 yards and throwing for 210 yards. He accounted for six touchdowns. Ringwood (10-2) actually led the game 8-0, but when Brown and the Bearcats got rolling it was 48-16 after three consecutive TDs to begin the second half. Blake Hammand had an interception on defense and a TD reception on offense for Grandfield, and Rodney Robinson had five catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns.
