NEWCASTLE - Doc Clayton ran for 206 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bryson Cowboys to a win over the Newcastle Bobcats Friday night.

The Cowboys (3-6, 2-1) went scoreless in the first quarter while Pecos Bohannan scored his first of two touchdowns in the game for the Bobcats (3-7, 1-3).

However, Bohannan's two-touchdown effort was not enough to hold the Cowboys, who outscored the Bobcats 20-6 in the second half and went on to win their second District game.
