ALVORD, Texas - Holliday's Trey Lawson passed for 217 yards and three touchdowns to help the Eagles score a 29-7 victory Friday night over the Alvord Bulldogs.

The Indians dominated the passing game, with Landrey Lemons, Gunnar Sewell and Brayden Little each catching a scoring strike from Lawson

Alvord's Shane Watkins ran 94 yards for Alvord’s only touchdown of the night.

Holliday's Seth Baumer scored with a 7-yard fumble return, and Sean Lanham added to the total with a 36-yard field goal.

The District 9-2A game gave the Eagles an 8-1 record overall, and they’re now 5-1 in district. The Alvord Bulldogs are 3-6 for the season and 2-4 in district.
