North Side 60, Apple Springs 7

CEDAR HILL, Texas - Corey Samson scored three touchdowns and the Indians put up 305 yards of total offense as Northside whipped Apple Springs 60-7 in the area round of the Six-Man Division II playoffs Friday.

The game ended at the half.

The defending state champions limited the Eagles to just 128 yards of offense as they improved to 10-2 for the season. They will play the Milford-Woodson winner in the regional quarterfinals next week.

Koby Dickerson joined Samson in the scoring column with a rushing TD of his own, while Colby White was 5-for-5 passing with a touchdown and Landry Freeling caught three passes for 50 yards and a score.

Samson also led the Northside defense with eight tackles.
Apple Springs finishes the year with an8-3 record.
