Strawn 85, Bryson 39

BRYSON - Even though Bryson's Taylor Poteet passed for 265 yard and two scores, as well as rushing for two more Friday night, the Strawn Greyhounds ruled the board, claiming an 85-39 win over the Cowboys.

The Greyhounds' Christian Johnson led in several areas, running for three touchdowns, catching two TD passes and throwing for one more.

In addition to passing, Poteet stood out as a rushing leader for the Cowboys, with a total of 128 rushing yards.

Strawn ran up a total of 342 rushing yards during the game.

The 9-A Division I district game moved the Cowboys’ record to 3-7 overall and 2-2 in district, and the Greyhounds are now 6-4 overall and 3-1 in district.
