Still clueless on Rangers
May 15, 2007For sports fans in this North Texas area, we like for the Texas Rangers to be interesting at least.
I had such high hopes for this team that I picked them to go to the playoffs.
But after early exits by the Stars and Mavericks in the playoffs, the Rangers have everyone's attention and they're wasting the chance to bring in new fans.
The Rangers are 15-23 and doing everything poorly it seems. But no one is taking off in the AL West so it's probably too early to bail on the season.
The Rangers desperately need a 5-game winning streak, a 10-of-12 stretch, something to make us think they have chance.
There have been few visual signs of hope, but I still think they have a chance. And I'm not usually an optimist when it comes to the Rangers.
