Off to Saginaw
August 28, 2008The season officially kicks off for me today in Saginaw. It's not one of my favorite places to visit, from personal experiences, but the Coyotes may have good memories of the place after a 43-32 win there last year.
It was one of those wierd non-district games late in the year. Thank goodness those aren't part of the equation any longer. It just didn't feel right playing a game that didn't count after the games which do count had begun.
I expect 700 yards or more of offense tonight between the two teams. The Coyotes should be able to move the ball in the air, as long as they protect the quarterback. And they were pretty good at that in their scrimmage.
And Boswell and their coaches are excellent on offense and may find holes in a Coyote defense that is still in the learning stages.
