Rider girls versus Friendswood (1st Half)

April 9, 2009

The Rider girls have been introduced at Georgetown's ISD Complex as they get ready to start their semifinal game.
Kaly Braiser, who has battled a back injury, is announced with the starters.
An early good chance for Rider, one minute in, as Taylor Moehnke passed to Michelle Castelli, who got off the shot, but it was stopped by Friendswood keeper Miriam Mooney.
Rider has a slight possession advantage in first 10 minutes.
Rider has four fouls plus a handball which is given the Lady Mustangs a chance to set up an attack. Thus far, Kathleen Stewart has been up to the task with some help from Maddie Holmes.
Friendswood took advantage of the wind and had more shots, although most came from 20 yards out or further.
0-0 at the half.
