Bowl For Kids' Sake, Dummy
May 2, 2012"So what, you stink at bowling. It's not about that, at all," has been a statement I've repeatedly made a few times in the past months.
I've had to say the previous declaration a couple of times because people might be looking for an excuse to not give back - this time they're not giving back to the foundation that is Big Brothers Big Sisters.
On May 20 the local BBBS foundation will host Bowl For Kids' Sake. There are three time slots - 1, 3 and 5 - available and all are almost full. But we still need bowlers and money.
I'm sure if you're reading this then you know a bowler that is participating and needs a donation to support their team.
Heck, if you want to support me, I'll take your donation. I've got a few bucks to go to support making big-little matches in the Wichita Falls area.
All I'm saying is find a way to give back to a worthy organization. It all makes a difference.
