$10,000 tip
August 31, 2006Who in their right mind is crazy enough to give anyone a $10,000 tip?
Well it just happened.
In Hutchinson, Kansas, at an Applebee's (considering a career change at this moment) a "regular" customer gave a women bartender a $10,000 chunk-a-change recently.
The customer's identity is being disguised at the moment, but was he feeling well that day.
Did he accidentally put not one, two or three, but four extra zeroes on a $10 tip.
He had to have been crazy.
Or this women bartender was serving something other than alcohol at the bar.
I really don't want to say sex had anything to do with it, but that's what immediately popped in my head when I found out it was a man giving $10,000 to a women for a $26 meal.
Maybe she just deserved a little something extra, and this guy's entire credit limit was what she needed.
I sure could use an extra $10,000 for something like that. Who doesn't?
Applebee's is going through the channels right now to verify the authenticity of the tip, and it looks like it's going to happen.
Well congratulation for the good work, Cindy Kienow.
You must have needed it.
Now let’s see if she does the even bigger "thing" and donate it to charity. Well, not all of it...keep a little somethin' somethin' for yourself.
Unless you win the lottery - the odds are in your favor with that luck - enjoy it while you can. You can't take it with you.
