bad to worstest

August 9, 2006

Maurice Clarett has fallen from grace. Once a football super star at OSU...the Buckeye has messed up every chance given to him.
IF he would have only played the “game.
I sorry, but it looks to me like college athletics are corrupt. Ever since his original story broke....heck even since the death penalty SMU got a number of years back, college athletics -- mainly basketball and football -- have gone off the deep end.
Maurice had it easy. But he messed it all up. I'm guessing he got caught and ratted the wrong people out.

Last night Maurice fell even farther from grace. He was driving an SUV when the cops tried to pull him over. But he decided to run.
He probably ran because he had a couple of handguns and an assault rifle in the car. AN ASSAULT RIFLE!!!
What the heck was Maurice doing with an assault rifle? He was either ready to go to war, or getting ready for a rap video.
The stun gun didn't work because he had a bullet proof vest on, so they maced the poor guy.
Why did I use the term poor?
But, I want to know why they were going to make the "routine traffic stop" on Maurice, according to an early morning ESPN Cold Pizza interview with an area police official.
I'm guessing because he was a black man driving late at night -- probably in a white neighborhood -- in a nice car.
Yes he shouldn't have had the guns...and yes he shouldn't have run and resisted arrest, but how much bad luck can this person go through?
I can only pray for Maurice. I'm sure not a lot of people are right now.
