Sopranos, Eighth episode
What a doozie.....The next to last episode of the Sopranos took some unexpected turns for the worst. The Big Bobby, Tony's brother-in-law, died after an attempt to kill Phil Leotardo went horribly, horribly wrong.
I, honestly, didn't catch the first 10 minutes so I'm not exactly sure why the hit was call on Phil, but I'm guessing it has to do with Tony's hatred towards the grey-headed one.
But with only one more episode left, I’m anticipating the worst — mainly A.J.'s death. What would a tragedy be without the tragic death of the loved one that could do no wrong — the son in the Italian family? The son of the problem. That would be a good show.
That's the belief I'm sticking to.
He's already tried committing suicide, so why not? A.J. is an OK character, but who needs him. All he's been good for his a couple of tears every now and then, especially since his girlfriend/fiancé left his no-good butt.
I was listening to a decent radio show the other day, with the end of Sopranos being near, and one caller mentioned a potential Sopranos feature film. Wouldn't that be fun?
But the main ship, the reason I watch weekly, is Tony, and I pray he doesn't die next week. I have my doubts, just because that would actually put an end the show — Call it closure — especially if my other belief, A.J.'s death, comes true.
Could you imagine the final episode - Tony and his son die. Maybe they could shoot each other "accidentaly" while eating one of those glorious meals.
