Sopranos finale

June 11, 2007

What an interesting ending. That's all I can really say. The final episode — the one to end it all — had its ups and downs.

Listening to everyone and their goomah debating their love/hatred/disappointment/enjoyment with the finale to end all finales has been an event. Only one thing from the show had any conclusion. Phil Leotardo is out as New York boss, way out.

He's only got some tire tracks to worry about. No open casket for that guy. I chuckled a little when his head was run over and the on-looker puked. What a way to die if you ask me.

I’m glad nobody else did though….

A.J. finally came to his senses. He was really starting to disappoint me with all that sniveling. What a punk. Then he decides he wants to join the Army, gets talked out of it and gets persuaded to start a career in film.

No more teary-eyed, "where's-Aid," where's-my-cut Carmela. Thank god.
I'll miss you Meadow. You seemed to be the only disconnect to the outside world. You had a life, even though you have no clue how to parallel park in less than 85 minutes.
See ya Janice. What a gold digging whiner.

Tony, I love you. (Yes, I just confessed my man love for the big guy.) You'll be the one I hate to see go the most. Some of the stuff you did was nukin futs, but it was justifiable - to you anyways. I will never forget that curb check you put on that New Yorker late in Season 6 1/2.

Thanks for taking some time off - guy from Bruce Springsteen's band - Sil. You were No.2 for so long (no one likes a No. 2), and something needed to be done with you. A coma seems to be a sufficient end to your demise.

Junior, Junior, Junior. What happened to the pulling-strings-behind-the-scenes gangster? Even though you shot Tony, you'll be missed. You might be incontinent, but you were a heck of a character. You gave hope when you were in the high-end nursing facility with a miniature gambling ring, but you wasted away to nothing — a shell of your former self.

I could go on forever baby. I just hope a movie is in the works. I'd pay.
